For $11 in Minnesota, it's hard to do better if you're looking for ripe fruity good cleanly made wine. Not lots of subtle stuff, but damn good juice. So you can get a decent, maybe not paradigm-shifting, Montepulciano without dipping into the 401k or 529 plan. I had Valentina’s bottom-of-the-line Montepulciano d’Abbruzzo (again) last night.
